John Sviety, director of finance at Peraton’s civil space business unit for the past seven months, has assumed a vice president position.
Sviety announced his promotion at the Reston, Virginia-based company to VP of finance for citizen security and public services in a LinkedIn post published Monday.
He joined Peraton in October 2022 after serving as finance director of Mitre‘s national security sector.
Previously, the George Mason University alum held financial leadership roles at government services providers Perspecta, DXC Technology’s public sector business, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Electronic Data Systems.
