Vienna, Virginia-based Criterion Systems has over 450 employees focused on providing IT infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, cloud and data center management and systems engineering support for federal customers in support of their mission-critical environments since 2005, Cherokee Federal said Wednesday.
“The strategic decision to acquire Criterion was made with the evolving needs and long-term success of the customer in mind,” said Steven Bilby, president of Cherokee Federal.
Bilby added that Criterion helps federal agencies address emerging cybersecurity requirements and delivers secure architectures and methodologies that are key for government IT modernization efforts.
Criterion CEO Promod Sharma said the company has supported federal government clients through an outcomes-focused approach that adopts modern platforms to improve service delivery and is excited to join Cherokee Federal to further advance growth initiatives.
