Bluestone-Backed cBEYONData Buys Summit2Sea Consulting; Dyson Richards Quoted

Professional services firm cBEYONData has acquired Summit2Sea Consulting in a transaction that expands its data analytics capabilities for federal government customers.

Summit2Sea has been providing data analytics, enterprise application modernization and robotic process automation support across Department of Defense programs since 2003 and maintains technology partnerships with companies such as Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), UiPath (NYSE: PATH) and Amazon Web Services, cBEYONData said Wednesday.

Summit2Sea Founders Laurian Eckle, Bryan Eckle and Chris Florman will continue to serve in their roles as part of the company’s senior leadership team. Laurian and Bryan respectively serve as chief executive and chief technology officer of Summit2Sea. Florman is a partner at the consulting firm.

Bluestone Investment Partners’ portfolio company cBEYONData now has over 350 professionals focused on providing data analytics, enterprise resource planning design and architecture, business intelligence, financial management, RPA, artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud migration support to federal agency clients, including DOD, Department of Justice and the General Services Adminitration.

“The addition of Summit2Sea expands the capabilities and expertise of cBEYONData so that we are able to support the needs of customers across the federal government across all financial and ERP platforms,” said Dyson Richards, CEO of cBEYONData.
