Jeffrey Van Anda Joins Hoverfly Technologies as Engineering SVP

Jeffrey Van Anda, a 25-year engineering professional, has been promoted to a senior vice president role at drone systems provider Hoverfly Technologies.

He replaces John McDade, who has retired as SVP of engineering after nearly eight years of service at the company, Hoverfly said Thursday.

Prior to his appointment, Van Anda was engineering VP at Orion Technologies and he led the development of single-board computers, rugged computer systems and high-speed backplanes for military clients.

Sanford, Florida-based Hoverfly manufactures tethered unmanned aerial vehicles for defense, security and public safety applications.
