He will report to Sigma Defense CEO Matt Jones as he oversees the company’s go-to-market strategies for Joint All-Domain Command and Control, DevSecOps and command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, the company said Wednesday.
Jones said Huisenga brings to Sigma Defense’s leadership team his track record of strategic development and growth and will play a key role in the implementation of strategies to advance the company’s growth initiatives.
Huisenga, a U.S. Navy veteran, has over two decades of leadership experience designing, maintaining and integrating communications systems for U.S. and international government clients.
He spent nine years at Klas Government, where he led the company’s international expansion efforts, particularly in the Australian and U.K. military markets. He also held positions at Merlin International, Cobham Antenna Systems, SAIC Information Services, Mission Mobility, Dataline and Space and Naval Systems Command.
Huisenga sits on the board of the National Defense Industrial Association’s Washington D.C. chapter.
