The Internal Revenue Service has briefed more than 150 vendors on a potential $2.1 billion multiple-award blanket purchase agreement covering enterprise program, project and integration services.
Ali Pourghassemi, an IRS industry liaison officer, said the agency held a virtual industry day Thursday to discuss the firm-fixed-price and labor-hour contract vehicle.
The IRS created its EPPIS procurement vehicle in a push to eliminate administrative redundancies and maintain large-scale operational services.
EPPIS will have a five-year base period of performance, two option years and a six-month extension.
The agency anticipates awarding the BPA under the General Services Administration’s Schedule governmentwide acquisition contract.
Pourghassemi noted the contracting opportunity is open to contract teaming arrangements between a potential prime contractor and subcontractor to encourage participation from both small and large businesses.
