Brock Spradling, former senior manager of federal health care at IBM‘s (NYSE: IBM) Red Hat subsidiary, has been promoted to the role of federal civilian sales director, G2Xchange reported Thursday.
He came to Red Hat in 2015 as lead for the software vendor’s health care team and client executive for its Defense Health Agency account.
Spradling previously worked cloud services provider Ostrato as director of sales and marketing from 2013 to 2015 and managed federal civilian sales at IBM from 2010 to 2012.
The software industry veteran joined IBM upon its 2006 acquisition of network management company MicroMuse, where he served as account director.
