Mercury Receives $165M Air Force IDIQ for F-16 Secure Mission Data System

Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY) has secured a $165 million sole-source contract from the U.S. Air Force for production follow-on work in support of the secure mission data systems on the service branch’s F-16 fleet.

The company will perform tasks as part of the third phase of the Air Force’s Small Business Innovation Research program, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Under the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Mercury will conduct work at its facilities in Torrance, California, through Jan. 19, 2028.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center obligated aircraft procurement funds, operations and maintenance funds, and National Guard and reserve equipment appropriation funds worth over $16 million on the award.

Headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, Mercury builds sensor and processing technologies and other aerospace and defense offerings in support of its customers.
