Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a potential eight-year, $250 million contract from U.S. Special Operations Command to develop an aircraft computer technology that can support communications interface between contrasting systems.
The company’s aerospace segment will perform engineering and integration work to synchronize feedback across SOCOM’s Integrated Tactical Mission Systems, the Department of Defense said Monday.
SOCOM is obligating $2.1 million in initial fiscal 2022 funds on the sole-source, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract, which covers a five-year base period and three option years.
