Army Requests Info on Commercial Identity Management Platforms as Part of Tech Evaluation Initiative

The U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Services has issued a request for information to learn more about the progression and advancement of commercial access management and single sign-on technology platforms.

A notice posted on SAM.gov stated that the Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Services wants to evaluate its current authentication system against identity credential and access management system offerings from the private sector.

PEO EIS seeks responses that detail the capabilities of companies to meet the service branch’s ICAM requirements across strategic and tactical environments such as integrated authenticators, access identity-aware proxy authentication and a mobile software development kit.

The office is also interested in learning about the current status and future plans for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program cybersecurity certification.

Responses are due on Friday.
