A Planned Systems International subsidiary has secured a potential $75 million blanket purchase agreement to support an organization under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that conducts worker safety and health research.
Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International will provide engineering and scientific support, technician support, medical services and human test subjects to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, PSI said Friday.
ATL will also help the institute conduct biomechanical analysis, assess occupational exposures and manage the World Trade Center Health Program.
“This award marks another critical milestone as we look forward to leveraging our expertise in industrial hygiene, toxicology, and research to help advance the vital missions of our clients and the citizens they serve,” said Bill Niemeyer, chief operating officer of ATL.
He noted that the business has supported NIOSH over the past two decades.
The five-year contract covers a one-year base period and four one-year options.
