Jimmy Jenkins Joins BlueHalo to Lead Air & Missile Defense, C4ISR Sector; Jonathan Moneymaker Quoted

Jimmy Jenkins, a military and industry leader, has joined BlueHalo as president and general manager of the company’s air and missile defense and C4ISR sector, GovCon Wire has learned.

He will directly report to BlueHalo Chief Operating Officer Katie Selbe and will apply his experience and knowledge in space systems, air and missile defense, command and control, operations research and unmanned aerial systems in leading the sector to help address the challenges facing national security market customers, the company said Thursday.

“Jimmy’s military and industry background will best position the Sector to execute recent and future growth and continue to evolve the organization to the next level of sophistication,” said BlueHalo CEO Jonathan Moneymaker.

Jenkins spent nearly 30 years in the U.S. Army and retired in 2013 as deputy commander for operations for Army Space and Missile Defense Command.

Prior to BlueHalo, he served as director for strategy and capture at Dynetics. He spent five years at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), where he served as director of integrated air and missile defense operating unit, international campaigns and business development, missile defense and protective systems.
