Redwire said Tuesday that Gold will build on his experience handling space innovation, regulatory issues and relationships between public and private sector entities to drive the company’s corporate outreach and civil space efforts.
In his previous role, he led the development of strategies for integrating international space policies including matters relevant to NASA’s Artemis missions.
His private sector career includes leadership positions at Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR), Space Systems Loral and Bigelow Aerospace.
Gold previously spearheaded the Federal Aviation Administration’s Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee and served as the first chair of the NASA Advisory Council’s regulatory and policy committee.
He also received NASA’s Outstanding Leadership Medal for his work on the Artemis Accords.
