She succeeds Christen Smith, who transitioned to a new role as VP of LMI’s federal and civilian market, and will oversee a practice made-up of more than 600 professionals who specialize in policy analysis, project and program management, strategic communications, science and technology, financial service and change management consulting, the nonprofit company said Wednesday.
Doug Wagoner, president and CEO of LMI, said Cocrane “understands our culture and the high expectations to which we hold ourselves—and has delivered for our customers time and again.”
Cocrane previously led LMI’s work with the Department of Health and Human Services in the health policy, analytics and operations areas. She joined the nonprofit in 2010 as an analyst for its Department of Defense business area.
