Megan Davies, director of enterprise program management at Boeing (NYSE: BA), has been named as the next CEO of the aerospace and defense company’s Insitu subsidiary, the Portland Business Journal reported Friday.
She will succeed Esina Alic, who has led the unmanned aircraft system manufacturer since April 2018 and will step down from the CEO position by Dec. 1.
The report said Davies started her career at Boeing in 2003 and has gained professional experience in areas such as investment, global engagement and mergers and acquisitions.
Insitu, which Boeing acquired in 2008, offers the ScanEagle UAS platform to the military sector for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance use.
