Collins Aerospace has secured a potential 10-year, $700M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force to qualify, manufacture and field ejection seat systems for the branch’s mission defense platforms.
USAF will obligate $5.2M in fiscal 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of Next Generation Ejection Seat program award, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work is slated to run through Oct. 22, 2030, and will take place in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
