David Zito, formerly commercial health care segment leader at Guidehouse, has been promoted to chief growth officer at the Washington, D.C.-based consulting services provider.
He will report to Scott McIntyre, CEO of Guidehouse and a 2020 Wash100 Award winner, as he helps advance enterprisewide growth initiatives through strategy development, investments in new markets and cross-segment collaboration, the company said Wednesday.
Zito will oversee Guidehouse’s advanced solutions and managed services business units and employee experience, sales and marketing functions in this newly created role.
McIntyre said Zito has led the growth of Guidehouse’s commercial health care segment and will bring to the new role his commitment to a strong culture.
Zito is a three-decade consulting industry veteran. He previously served as commercial health care segment leader at Navigant, which Guidehouse acquired in October 2019. He spent more than a decade as an executive within the health care consulting practice at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
