Leidos Secures $401M Task Order to Help Manage DIA IT Operations; Vicki Schmanske Quoted

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential $401M prime task order, with a five-month base period, to help the Defense Intelligence Agency maintain and operate information technology systems.

The company said Wednesday it will provide data center, architecture and security services to support DIA's digital transformation efforts via the Infrastructure Services Enterprise Operations task order.

"We are excited to expand our relationship with the DIA and leverage our past performance in IT modernization to advance the agency's technical capabilities," said Vicki Schmanske, president of Leidos' intelligence group.

DIA issued the award, which contains five option years and an additional six-month option, under the Enhanced Solutions for IT Enterprise contract vehicle — also known as E-SITE.

Leidos added it will also manage applications, traffic and mobile devices for the agency and will peform work at company facilities and at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C.
