Letitia Long, who served as director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency between 2010 and 2014, has been elected to Parson’s (NYSE: PSN) board of directors.
The nearly 40-year defense and intelligence sector veteran, helped establish NGA as the first U.S. agency to deploy open source software to support the delivery of emergency response data, the company said Tuesday.
Long, a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient, previously served as deputy director of the Defense Intelligence Agency prior to her most recent role. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at the Department of Defense including service as deputy undersecretary for intelligence and deputy director of naval intelligence.
She has chaired the Intelligence and National Security Alliance’s board since January 2016.
