Six Firms Awarded $550M Navy LCS Maintenance IDIQ Ceiling Increase

Six companies have received a $550M increase to potential value of orders under a multiple-award contract to sustain U.S. Navy littoral combat ships docked at various locations within and outside the continental U.S.

This contract action raises the ceiling for five ordering periods on MAC Tier 1 from $250M to $800M, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

The original award covers corrosion control services and sustainment efforts such as continuous, preventative and facilities maintenance of the LCS fleet.

Naval Sea Systems Command received 15 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through the legacy FedBizOpps website.

The awardees are:

• BAE Systems
• East Coast Repair and Fabrication
• General Dynamics (NYSE: GD)
• Marine Group Boat Works
• Pacific Ship Repair and Fabrication
• Vigor Marine
