CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has secured a potential $83.1M task order from the U.S. Navy to provide administrative, engineering, managerial and technical support services to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.
The company will help the branch manage its Ships Availability Planning and Engineering Center as well as deep submergence and non-nuclear waterfront systems, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work is initially scheduled to conclude in March 2021 and also covers administrative, engineering, planning, deficiency resolution and technical support to Naval Sea Systems Command.
The task order, which the Navy awarded under its SeaPort-NxG contract vehicle, has a $13.2 million initial value.
The branch will obligate $3.8M in fiscal 2020 maintenance and operations funds at the time of award.
