Six companies have been awarded an $85M modification under a U.S. Navy indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for contingency construction services worldwide.
The award will increase the potential value of the five-year, multiple-award IDIQ to $1.06B, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Task orders encompass construction and engineering projects to support government response to natural disasters, a conflict or humanitarian crises. Contractors may also provide base operating support services.
The Navy initially awarded a $975M contract in April 2019.
