The U.S. Army has delayed an industry event for its potential $957M Cyber Training, Readiness, Integration, Delivery and Enterprise Technology contract due to concerns over the coronavirus outbreak, Fifth Domain reported Thursday.
The event, originally slated to take place on April 2 in Orlando, Fla., has been moved to late April.
According to the service branch, one-on-one activities and other hosting options are being explored as potential alternatives to the industry day.
The draft solicitation for Cyber TRIDENT released last week states that contract work includes integration, support and maintenance for a cyber defense training platform called Persistent Cyber Training Environment.
Work also covers systems support for other Department of Defense agencies as well as non-DoD entities.
A final solicitation for the TRIDENT award is slated for release later this year ahead of a contract award in 2021.
