The U.S. Army has awarded Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) a $108.3M contract modification to fund the procurement of supplies and incidental services needed to update Patriot surface-to-air missile radars for the service branch and the Netherlands.
The award covers equipment, facilities and hardware for the production of the system's digital sidelobe canceller and peripheral electronics assembly box, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work runs through July 31, 2022, and also includes planning, management and testing services.
Raytheon received a $102.5M contract last year to provide Patriot missile component modification kits and spares to the Army and the Netherlands, which procures the items under a foreign military sales arrangement.
