Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a $347.7M contract modification from the U.S. Navy to obtain long-lead materials and support services for the production of 43 lot 15 F-35s.
Items covered by the award are necessary for Lockheed’s aeronautics segment to build and deliver the fighter jets to non-Department of Defense participants and foreign military sales customers on schedule, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will take place in Texas, California, Florida, New Hampshire, Maryland, Japan and the U.K., through December 2023.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the full amount of the modification at the time of award.
