Information technology services provider Trowbridge & Trowbridge has acquired Fredericksburg, Va-.based IntelliWare Systems for an undisclosed amount in a move to expand the former’s national security portfolio and client network.
Trowbridge said Tuesday IntelliWare offers IT, cyber and intelligence analysis support to clients in the homeland security, law enforcement and intelligence sectors.
IntelliWare clients include the Department of Homeland Security, FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Cass Panciocco, president and CEO of Trowbridge, said the company made the acquisition to further help federal customers integrate emerging technology and conduct data and intelligence analysis.
KippsDeSanto acted as IntelliWare’s financial adviser on the transaction.
Trowbridge is headquartered in McLean, Va., and backed by investment firm Enlightenment Capital.
