PAE Books $90M Army Construction Security Services Contract

PAE’s professional services business has won a potential five-year, $90M contract to install security equipment and provide surveillance services to the U.S. Army's construction projects in Far East District, South Korea.

The Department of Defense said Thursday PAE will work to secure facilities being constructed as part of the Yongsan Relocation Program, the service branch's $10.7B effort to relocate U.S. forces and United Nations Command operations.

The Yongsan base was turned over to the South Korean government and U.N. last year as part of efforts to move the base’s troops to USAG Humphreys located south of the capital.

USAG Yongsan features housing areas, medical facilities, lodging and DoD-dependent schools. The base — which handles orientation and processing operations — houses over 21K civilians, contractors, service members and their families.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers received four bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and will obligate funds and work locations with each order.

DoD expects the company to complete services by Jan. 29, 2025.
