Dignitas Technologies has secured a five-year, $99M contract to perform lifecycle support work on virtual reality simulation and training platforms for the U.S. Navy.
The company will help the military service build, implement, test and sustain the Virtual Interactive Shipboard Instructional Tour 3D and Multipurpose Reconfigurable Training System 3D under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The Naval Air Warfare Center received four offers for the IDIQ via small business set-aside competition and the service branch will obligate funds upon issuance of task orders.
Contract work will take place in Orlando through January 2025.
