Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a potential $768.3M contract from the U.S. Air Force to produce lot 33 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile systems.
The fixed-price incentive contract also covers AMRAAM telemetry system, captive air training missiles, spares, guidance sections and other production engineering support hardware, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The contract includes sales to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and the U.K. under the foreign military sales program.
Work will occur in Tucson, Ariz., through Feb. 28, 2023.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will obligate funds at the time of award, including $356.7M in Air Force and Navy procurement funds for fiscal 2019 and $366.7M in FMS funds.
AMRAAM is designed to support air-to-air and surface-launch missions and has been integrated onto F-15, F-16, F/A-18, F-22, F-35, Gripen, Tornado, Typhoon and Harrier aircraft.
