The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has included six more companies as awardees on a potential $5B contract for horizontal construction services along the southern border.
Efforts under the multiple-award contract will support USACEs Southwestern and South Pacific divisions as well as the Department of Homeland Securitys Border Patrol sectors encompassing the El Paso, Big Bend, Del Rio, Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
USACE added the new awardees to a group of 13 contractors unveiled in June.
