The Social Security Administration has selected a joint venture between TurningPoint Global Solutions and DSFederal to provide a technology for the agency to manage telecommunication expenses.
TurningPoint said Thursday the JV will help SSA to implement a telecommunications expense management platform as the agency prepares for its transition to the General Services Administration’s Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions program.
SSA plans to use the latest version of TurningPoints Network Inventory and Optimization Solution in efforts to coordinate with EIS suppliers during transactions such as ordering and billing.
The NiOS 6 platform is designed with tracking, automation and control features.
TurningPoint noted it will continue work the company has provided to SSA over the past three years.
