Comtech Telecommunications (Nasdaq: CMTL) landed a potential $98.6M contract during the first quarter of its 2020 fiscal year to help the U.S. Army manage satellite communication terminals worldwide.
The company said Tuesday its mission-critical technologies group will perform global field support services for satcom equipment built to facilitate inter and intra-theater network communications.
Work will involve logistics, systems engineering, security and help desk support. The contract has a $22.2M base value and a six-month option.
We are honored that the Army has put its trust in Comtech to provide support of U.S. warfighters, said Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications.
The award is filed under Comtech’s fiscal year for 2020.
