He will succeed Paul Leslie, who will become executive chairman of the companys board, Dovel said Wednesday.
Griggs said he is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and customer centricity as the company continues to provide cutting-edge platforms and advance expansion efforts to broaden its impact across the federal government.
Succession planning has been a critical component of our strategy as we looked to the future, including the timing of this transition, Leslie said. I have tremendous confidence in Damon and the executive team and look forward to this next chapter in Dovels evolution as we continue to expand our capabilities to help our customers create the government of the future.
Griggs has over 20 years of leadership experience in the government technology sector. He joined Dovel as COO in 2016 and assumed the president role in 2018.
Prior to Dovel, he served as president and COO of InScope International and as a senior vice president at Alion Science and Technology.
