Matthew Reeves, a project management professional with government information technology market experience, has been promoted to vice president of Department of Homeland Security sector operations at Steampunk, G2XChange ETC reported Friday.
He previously served as a senior program manager at the IT services provider, formerly known as SE Solutions before it rebranded in July.
Prior to joining the company in 2018, Reeves held director and program manager positions at Accentures (NYSE: ACN) federal arm where he led Agile software development efforts.
He also worked in a similar role at Agilex Technologies and managed projects with DHS and Department of Justice customers. Before entering the private sector, he served as a U.S. Marine Corps commissioned officer between 2004 and 2012.
Reeves holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from George Washington University and a master’s degree in finance from Auburn University.
