Advanced Technology International has won a five-year, $99M contract to help the U.S. Navy manage a center of excellence that was built to develop and transition naval manufacturing technologies to the private sector.
ATI will provide operation and management support to the Navy Manufacturing Technology Center for Innovative Naval Shipbuilding and Advanced Manufacturing under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The service branch received two proposals for the IDIQ via a competitive procurement and will obligate $450K in fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds to cover the first two task orders.
Contract work will take place in Summerville, S.C., through August 2024.
