Cisco Secures $724M Follow-On Award for DoD Technical Support, Services

Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) has landed a potential two-year, $724M joint enterprise license agreement with the Defense Information Systems Agency to continue to provide technical support and services across the Department of Defense.

Smart Net Total Care JELA II has a one-year base period and an option that could extend work through June 17, 2021, The Pentagon said Monday.

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization received four proposals for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive solicitation on FedBizOpps.

Cisco offered technical education, engineering, consulting and classified network services to all DoD organizations as part of the initial JELA awarded in September 2014.
