Mike Daniels
Mike Daniels, an executive from Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), has joined Google as vice president for global public sector cloud sales, Bloomberg reported Monday.
He succeeds Aileen Black, who stepped down from her role earlier this year, and brings to the position more than two decades of industry experience.
Daniels previously served as senior VP for public sector sales at Salesforce and spent nine years at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), where he led technology sales in the public sector.
He also held senior leadership roles at several technology firms such as Pitney Bowes (NYSE: PBI) and Affiliated Computer Services, which was acquired by Xerox (NYSE: XRX).
