UES, UDRI to Support Military Weapon Tech Research Under $99M Air Force Contract

Science and technology company UES and the University of Dayton Research Institute have landed spots on a five-year, $99M contract to help the Air Force Research Laboratory conduct scientific studies.

Both contractors will support AFRL research projects in the power, energy, thermal, integration and control areas as part of efforts to develop military weapon and emerging technology applications, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The laboratory received two offers for the  indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and is obligating $4.3M for the initial task orders.

Work will take place at Wright-Patterson AF Base in Ohio through Aug. 21, 2024.
