Twelve companies have secured spots on a potential five-year, $5B contract to provide horizontal construction services to support Department of Homeland Security, Border Patrol and Army Corps of Engineers operations at the southern border.
Contractors are eligible to compete for task orders to conduct design-build and design-bid-build efforts for USACE™s southwestern and south Pacific divisions as well as Border Patrol™s El Centro, San Diego, Tucson and Yuma sectors, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
USACE received 38 bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation process and will determine funds and work locations with each order.
The Pentagon expects contractors to complete their services by May 7, 2024.
