Joanne Isham
Joanne Isham, a nearly three-decade intelligence community veteran, has been appointed chairperson of the newly formed executive advisory board at Tyto Athene, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners.
Isham will lead the board in efforts to help implement Tyto Athene’s strategy and provide insight on market capitalization, acquisition and government relations matters, the company said Tuesday.
Her public sector career included time as deputy director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, deputy director for science and technology at the CIA and director of legislative affairs at the National Reconnaissance Office.
She helped establish the CIA’s venture capital arm In-Q-Tel.
Michael Lustbader, a managing partner of Arlington Capital Partners, said Isham previously provided advisory support to the investment company as well as its Polaris Alpha, Novetta and Quantum Spatial management teams.
Tyto Athene is a systems integrator launched in August 2018 after Arlington Capital purchased Black Boxs (NYSE: BBOX) government solutions unit.
