AECOMs (NYSE: ACM) energy and construction business has received a potential $117.3M contract from the U.S. Army to support rehabilitation of the LaGrange Lock and Dam complex in Illinois.
The company will provide temporary facilities, remove and replace horizontal concrete and perform lock chamber protection and dewatering services as part of the firm-fixed-price contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
Work also covers demolition, surveying and blasting efforts.
Army Contracting Command received one bid via an online acquisition process and will obligate $24.7M at the time of award from the military service’s fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds.
The Pentagon expects AECOM to complete the project by July 16, 2021.
