United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) has received a five-year, $2.46B modification to an existing contract for the delivery of depot level repairables and consumable parts in support of the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Logistics Agency awarded the modification that raises the base contract’s value to $4.93B and brings the cumulative work duration to cover 10 years, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
Work will take place in Connecticut through Sept. 26, 2023 under the fixed-price prospective redetermination, multiple-year requirements contract.
The contract sources from working capital funds allotted for fiscal 2018 through 2023 to finance work.
