Perspectas (NYSE: PRSP) Vencore subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $96 million follow-on contract to continue to provide review and data collection support services for the U.S. Armys ground combat and aviation systems and tactical wheeled vehicles.
The Sample Data Collection and Analysis contract also covers operational sustainment analysis and health usage monitoring support services for the Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity, Perspecta said Monday.
Mac Curtis, Perspecta president and CEO, said the recompete contract seeks to reflect the companys efforts and credibility in support of AMSAA.
We are honored to continue to provide critical services in the areas of data collection, big data, internet of things, data analytics and predictive analysis in support of the Armys focus on improving readiness, added Curtis, a four-time Wash100 recipient.
Work will occur at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and other military locations in the U.S. and overseas.
The SDC&A initiative supports the services readiness and sustainment efforts through materiel analyses to facilitate the detection of systemic issues and offer recommendations to program managers, operational forces and Army Materiel Command.
