Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has received a potential five-year, $73 million task order to provide information technology architecture and systems engineering services to the U.S. Navy‘s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
The order was awarded under the SeaPort-e contract vehicle and covers support services to SPAWAR’s Office of the Chief Engineer and Fleet Readiness Directorate, SAIC said Monday.
Jim Scanlon, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s defense systems customer group, said the company will also provide cybersecurity support to the command.
œWe are proud to continue to support SPAWAR 5.0, the Navy™s information technology technical authority, building upon our 14 year history with this program, Scanlon added.
Work will also include configuration and technical management, interoperability assessment, analysis and engineering support for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance programs.
The order contains one base year and four option years.
