Infrastructure security company Cyxtera Technologies has signed an agreement to purchase Immunity, a Miami, Florida-based network security services firm.
Cyxtera said Tuesday it will integrate Immunity’s offerings into its portfolio of threat analytics products and leverage the latter company’s team and customer base when the acquisition is complete.
The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions and is expected to close within the quarter, Cyxtera added.
Immunity offers systems vulnerability research, exploit development and penetration testing products and services to commercial and government customers.
Christopher Day, chief cybersecurity officer of Cyxtera, said that the acquisition will combine the two companies’ offense- and defense-oriented cybersecurity approaches.
