A Bechtel subsidiary has secured a potential $571.3 million contract to provide naval nuclear propulsion components to the U.S. Navy.
The Defense Departmentsaid FridayBechtel Plant Machinery Inc. will deliver the components to support the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
BPMI helps the Navy fabricate, field, install and test nuclear power plant components for aircraft carriers and submarines through the NNPP program, according to Bechtel.
