Ron Davis
Ron Davis, formerly chief information security officer of Vencore and a certified information systems security professional, has joined Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) as CISO.
Davis will oversee a cybersecurity program that seeks to identify threats and risks as well as implement controls, methods and processes designed to secure HII enterprise information systems, the company said Monday.
He will be based in Washington, D.C. and report to Chris Kastner, chief financial officer and executive vice president of business management at HII.
Before he joined Vencore in 2015, Davis held various positions at BAE Systems‘ U.S. arm such as director of global cybersecurity program integration and global cybersecurity operations there.
As a BAE employee under contract to support federal customers, he managed information technology security efforts for the Defense Logistics Agency as well as the departments of Treasury, Commerce and Homeland Security.
He previously served as principal security engineer at iSYS, senior lead security analyst at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), network security engineer at Indus and senior systems engineer at ADT.
