Three companies have secured positions on a potential five-year, $30 million contract to supply custom fabricated electronic parts in support of the U.S. Navy‘s rapid prototyping initiative.
Delta Group Electronics, NPI Services and Quality Systems Integrated will compete for task orders under the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
The contract contains a two-year base value of $12 million and work could extend through January 2022 if the Navy exercises all three one-year options.
Work will occur in San Diego and Costa Mesa, California.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific will obligate funds through task orders from the Navy’s operations and maintenance; and research, development, test and evaluation funds.
The contract was competitively awarded through an online request for proposals with three offers received.
