CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) has secured a potential two-year, $80.3 million contract to provide  information technology services for U.S. Navy‘s naval enterprise network outside the continental U.S.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers continued IT services to support the transition from the ONE-Net system that offers non-classified internet protocol router network and secret internet protocol router network access to OCONUS Navy commands and claimants.
The Navy conducted market research into information technology operational services in September 2015 as part of preparations to migrate a shore-based intranet system to the Next Generation Enterprise Network.
CSRA will perform work at Navy and U.S. Marine Corps locations in Bahrain, Greece, Guam, Italy, Japan, Poland, Republic of Korea, Romania, Singapore, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
The contract has a one-year base value of $39.1 million and an option that could extend work through January 2019.
