CyberCore Technologies has appointed Ontuitive Chairman Stephen Hoffman and Kirkland Donald, a 37-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, to the cybersecurity services contractor’s board of directors.
Kevin Powderly, CyberCore chairman and co-founder, said in a statement released Tuesday that Hoffman’s senior leadership experience and creativity will support the firm’s growth initiatives.
Powderly added in a separate separate release that Donald will bring military experience and leadership to help CyberCore provide opportunities for growth and customer support.
The appointments come nearly two months after Tina Kuhn, a former senior vice president at Sotera Defense, joined the company as CEO and president.
Hoffman currently serves as a board member at PAN, Turning Technologies, Zeuss and Certica.
His more than 30-year career includes time as CEO of iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, Element K and Prometric.
Donald is a retired Navy admiral who previously served as director of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and deputy administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration.
He commanded at every level in the Navy Submarine Force and fulfilled onshore assignments in the fields of nuclear propulsion, personnel policy and management, joint service operations, financial management and information technology
Donald worked as chief operating officer, president and CEO at Systems Planning and Analysis Inc. after he retired from military service.
He is a member of the boards of directors of Entergy Corp. (NYSE: ETR), Battelle and the Naval Submarine League.
